My path to becoming a counsellor began with navigating my own life challenges and learning how deeply our experiences shape us. Doing my own healing brought a sense of relief and freedom I didn’t have before. That process taught me the importance of understanding ourselves, being supported, and having a safe place to work through what feels hard.
As a therapist, I show up with steadiness, curiosity, and respect for whatever you’re carrying. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan — we can sort through things together, at a pace that feels manageable.
I am a registered counsellor with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada.
My work draws on an integrative therapeutic approach, with additional training in Parts Work, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté.
My approach is grounded in an understanding of the nervous system and the protective function of our coping, and in helping you make sense of what feels confusing, overwhelming, or stuck.
